Greenlight to College Month

Announcing the Greenlight to College Marathon!

No Comments 12 February 2018

WHAT IS THE MARATHON?

You don’t have to run, swim, or bike, don’t worry. It’s not that kind of marathon. The Greenlight to College Marathon is a free event that gives students a chance to earn up to $100 every hour from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (Central Standard Time), Feb. 24. It occurs online at www.collegegreenlight.com, and we actually ask you to do the opposite of running. Just take a seat in your desk chair and login for a chance to win.

WHY IS THE MARATHON IMPORTANT?

We believe our student community on College Greenlight will change the world. Whether working an after-school job to help support a family, spending nights and weekends building relationships with community organizations, or striving to be at the top of the class, College Greenlight students are the embodiment of grit and determination. This is our way of making some sort of small contribution, a hearty acknowledgment, of all of the hard work you do.

WHAT HAPPENS ON THE DAY OF THE MARATHON?

On Feb. 24th, we welcome all high school and college students to visit CollegeGreenlight.com to enter contests worth up to $100 every hour. Students who submit will be automatically entered in a drawing to win the big enchilada of the day: a $1,000 scholarship. It’s simple to throw your hat into this online ring, too. Simply send us photos of:

  • Completed scholarship applications (a confirmation page also works)
  • Selfie from a campus visit or fair
  • College list on College Greenlight (six colleges minimum)

It’s that easy.

HOW DO I GET STARTED?

All students must register. Create a free College Greenlight account or log into your existing profile to register. It’s super easy and it looks like this:

Registrations begin Feb. 1 and go until the day of the Marathon.
