Davidson University

Description: Davidson’s MVP is a program for high school seniors, designed to provide students from traditionally under-represented groups, including College Access affiliated students, the opportunity to visit campus. If selected, you will arrive Sunday afternoon and stay on campus with a current Davidson student for two nights. You will attend classes and should plan to return home Tuesday afternoon. Davidson will cover the direct expenses associated with your visit to campus. This includes airfare to/from your home airport, ground transportation in Charlotte to/from campus, meals during the visit, and overnight accommodations.

 

Emory University

Description: Emory University invites you to apply to participate in Emory’s CORE visit program. This program is for talented, high-achieving high school seniors who are traditionally first-generation college students and/or from underrepresented cultural or socioeconomic backgrounds.

 

Johns Hopkins University: Hopkins Overnight Multicultural Experience

Description: The Office of Undergraduate Admissions is proud to present HOMEā€”an on-campus, overnight program connecting African American or black, Latinx/Hispanic, Native American, and multiracial high school seniors to the clubs, organizations, and resources that bring together our multicultural community.

 

Tulane University: BienvenueTU

Description: The spring visit is an invite-only program designed for high-achieving, admitted, high school seniors from first generation and/or underrepresented cultural or socioeconomic backgrounds. Visiting students will stay on campus with a current student, have the opportunity to sit in on classes, meet with faculty and staff, attend a student organization fair, and explore New Orleans!

 

Tulane University: PreviewTU

State: Louisiana

Program Dates: October 21st-22nd

Application Period: July 1st to September 10th, 2018

Description: The fall visit program is an overnight stay combined with our fall Campus Preview Day in collaboration with the Office of Multicultural Affairs and the Center for Academic Equity. This is a competitive program and students will be asked to apply for the program. The visit will give students the chance to learn about the diversity of Tulane and New Orleans, explore academic offerings, and immerse themselves in campus life. PreviewTU is designed for high-achieving high school seniors who are from first generation and/or underrepresented cultural or socioeconomic backgrounds. The Office of Undergraduate Admission will reimburse students’ travel expenses.
